I heared about this invention/idea some years ago. The idea comes from Franz Baier from Rotthalmünster. He is a mechanic and told me about it. I was deeply impressed
What is the idea about?
Wheelchairs or shopping carts make trouble sometimes. When you move them on an inclined plane, they tend to drift downhill. This can cause a lot of power needed to fight against this drift. So Franz Baier had the idea of a balanced wheelchair, with tilted front wheels, to eliminate this drift force.
Goals
I want to bring this invention into a product, or even make it a standard solution on wheelchairs and shopping carts. But: that’s not as simple as it seems. For many reasons.
